Our Mission
Dignified Transportation for Active Older Adults & Visually Impaired Adults
We’re a local nonprofit dedicated to dignity in mobility. Our trained volunteer drivers offer arm-through-arm, door-through-door rides that go far beyond curbside pickup. Whether it’s a ride to a doctor’s office or a visit to a favorite lunch spot, our goal is simple:
Help people get where they need to go safely, comfortably, and respectfully.

We provide transportation to active older adults and people with mobility challenges for Kentucky residents in these areas:
Fayette County | Northern Jessamine County
More people.
More impact.
Bridging the Mobility Gap for Aging America
As America’s population ages, millions of older adults face the profound challenge of losing mobility, threatening their independence and connection to the world. The need for accessible, reliable transportation has never been more critical, calling for innovative, community-driven solutions.

A Rider's Thank You To
ITN Drivers
Why do we love you ITN drivers? Let me count the ways...
- For being on time, giving peace of mind.
- For driving for us, so we can go out to dine.
- For your happy demeanor and kind ways. It’s like riding with a friend who stays with you ‘til the very end.
- For handling our devices and averting a crisis! A walker, a stick, a wheelchair, a cane and umbrellas for the rain; you handle them all without disdain.
- For improving our social life with any strife. A lecture? A movie? A Play? Our options are endless, and we have it our way!
- At our age doctor visits are a must, and you get us there without any fuss!
So, thank you drivers, and all the good people at ITNBluegrass who keep it all running without a glitch! You make our lives easier and much more fun. So please keep on driving under the beautiful sun. Thank you, thank you, we love you, yes, we do! -Kathy D
